We were looking for a best resort in munnar for family with private waterfalls and we are so glad that we chose to stay at Misty range resorts, Marayoor, Munnar. With cozy and super clean rooms, blessed with nature all around, offering a hidden waterfalls accessible by short walk, good and variety food options served at your room, this best in class marayoor resorts was definitely the highlight of our entire 1 week Munnar trip. What’s more attractive is, given its offerings, it comes at relatively lesser price compared to the so called big resorts in Munnar main area. It’s just 40 kms drive from Munnar. If you like to spend time peacefully with nature and loved ones without burning your pocket, this would be a best deal for your marayoor holidays & munnar trip plan as family or couple.
We initially thought of going for any good mud house marayoor, but after going through the reviews and feedbacks we understood that for families resort type would be more suitable. So we did extensive research on best marayoor resorts available and selected Misty range resorts, Marayoor, Munnar.

Falls was really amazing as its beautiful, calm & nested in nature and more importantly not accessible by public. So enjoy your time with loved ones here without worrying about the crowd.

You can enjoy walking around inside the resort. There are some beautiful stone benches also designed for relaxing in nature.
FOOD
There is a restaurant at the entrance of the resort. Food will be delivered to room as per order. Food was good and reasonably priced.
We really enjoyed our 2 days stay here. It’s one of the best resort in munnar for family. You would need at least 2 days to enjoy the beauty of the Misty range marayoor resorts, Munnar. You can enjoy the private waterfalls without any hassle of crowd and public. That was definitely a highlight of the stay.

Which room type should I book?
All types has the same interior (rooms, bathrooms etc). Here are some points which would help you to choose
- River view – Sierra – River + forest view from the balcony + A/C
- Deluxe – Pinnacle – More private balconies, which opens fully to the trees.
- Deluxe – Eminence – Pinnacle cottage would be visible from the balconies. More closer to the entry gate and restaurant.
In short, if you can manage few extra bucks, then Riverview – Sierra is the best option with the forest and river view + A/C. If you want budget option, request for pinnacle if available, else Eminence is also equally good.
