  • To start with, the boat trip on Lake Lucerne is an experience in itself.  Take ship from Lucerne to Vitznau. Boat station is just opposite to train station
  • Then comes the venerable Mt. Rigi Railways, which has been taking visitors up the “Queen of the Mountains” from Vitznau since 1871. Take Cogwheel train from Vitznau to Rigi Kulm
  • At Rigi Kulm you’ll find a majestic 360° panorama with views of the Swiss plateau and as far as the Black Forest, the Vosges mountains and the ring of mountains from the Glarus Alps to the Bernese Alps. 
  • Return :
  • Take cogwheel train to Rigi-Kaltbad and from there to Weggis in  aerial cable car
  • Return to Lucerne city in boat

TIP : We will be able to get best views, when the weather is good. So make sure of weather in morning and plan accordingly.

Lucerne is the best place to stay for Rigi trip, as it starts from Lucerne boat station. Preferably take stay near to Lucerne train station as it is convenient and time saving.
