We did 24 km rafting, which starts from Marine Drive and finishes at Nainain beach, covering Shivpuri, Brahmapuri and Gular blaze. It includes awesome grade 4 rides like golf course,roller coaster, body surfing etc

There is 35 km rafting which has a Grade 4 rapid : Wall, which falls almost vertically and the boat will topple mostly. So it is generally recommended for the experienced ones.
Wet suits will be provided during winter, which will help you form cold as the chilled water will come splashing so often. Also, one kayak will accompany us for giving helping hand in case needed.
Rafting charges : 1000 – 1500 /person – Depends upon the season

Reaching Rishikesh :
From Haridwar railway station or Dehradun Airport, a cab will cost you around 1000-1200 bucks(As of 2018). Our cab guy was very friendly and well mannered. He came to pick us at railway station early morning around 4.30 am.

- By Rail: Haridwar Junction (21 kilometers) in Haridwar is the nearest major rail-head.
- By Bus: Rishikesh has a fine network of buses linking it with important places such as Dehradun, Haridwar and New Delhi.
BEST TIME TO VISIT :
We did rafting March 1st week. Water was so chilled and feel was very nice.As it was off season, there was less rush and we had a real good experience. It would be better to avoid too much crowd.
The best time to visit Rishikesh for River Rafting is from late September – October to mid November, and then the best time to visit Rishikesh is from early March – April to first week of May.
In July there is a festival in Rishikesh called Savan where thousands of people flock to Rishikesh. Major roads are blocked and hotels are crowded. It is better to avoid travelling to Rishikesh during that time.
